Do you want to get started with clay yourself? I would like to introduce you to the world of ceramics. You can join my workshops in my studio, for two to four people. Do you want to know more? Then read on!
During a ceramics workshop, you will learn how to hand shape with clay and how to give your work a beautiful finish with the right techniques and glaze. A workshop consists of a minimum of two sessions. This way you come for one part of the day to sculpt, and the second part of the day to glaze your work. Between the sessions should be about 2 to 4 weeks, because the work has to dry and be fired,
For example, in one session you can make a bowl, vase, mug or small figurine. But the possibilities are endless! Once your work of art has been fired, we will make a new appointment for a glazing session. Then your glazed work has to be fired again, and then you can pick it up and take it home.
The costs for a ceramics workshop are €60 per person(from 1 jan 2025). That is for two sessions, including two times oven use and material costs. A session lasts 2.5 hours. You can come alone, or with a maximum of four people. It can be a creative birthday present, a fun outing with friends or with your children.. Children from the age of ten can easily participate in the workshop.
The agenda is full until the end of 2024 but workshops can still be reserved for 2025 on the following dates:
Saturday January 18, 2025 (full); February 22, 2025 (full); March 22, 2025(full); April 12, 2025; May 24, 2025.
